Spotlight on Juneau Hello Fellow Taxpayers: Our political season is heating up with the general election only three weeks away. Now is the time to carefully study each candidate and issues that will be on the November ballot. Click here to view sample ballots in your area. If you are interested in who has been financing your candidate visit the A. P. O. C. web site. This can be some interesting reading! We have recently completed a major "face lift" of our web site. We added an online survey and navigation button descriptions to the Home page. New graphics and short bill descriptions have been added to the Watchdog page. The bill descriptions will make it much easier for voters to see how each legislator has voted. A new subscription coupon has been added to the Join page. The additional information on this coupon will make us more effective in reaching our stated goals. There are some new facts listed on the Statistics page that show government spending growth in Alaska. While looking at this page we must all ask ourselves, "how much government do we really need"? This is a good time to write letters to the editor. Tell your neighbors and friends statewide how you feel about issues on the November 5th. ballot. We have expanded the Links page to include additional print media options, and televisions stations. There is also a new section with radio stations listed. If possible, please try to include our web site address (www.akvoters.org) in the body of each letter. We hope you enjoy the new look and information presented on our web site. Now voters statewide can make informed decisions on November 5th. Together we CAN and WILL make a positive difference for Alaska's future! Thank you Mike McBride Please forward this message to concerned family members, friends, neighbors, and business associates. Ask them to do the same. Everyone is welcome to join , and will automatically receive future issues of the "Spotlight on Juneau ". If you no longer wish to
receive this newsletter, send an email with QUIT written in the
message box. Make sure the "reply to" address on your message is
the one you want removed from our files.
