PALMER FAIR HUGE SUCCESS
This year a dozen dedicated volunteers donated over 450 hours to set up and staff a booth at the Palmer Fair. Between 4 and 5 thousand people visited the booth with many completing public opinion surveys and becoming new members. Results of the surveys will soon be posted on the Statistics page.
Everyone was encouraged to visit the Watchdog page prior to each election. The Watchdog page has been recently updated with voting records for all legislators on many of the critical issues from the 23rd. legislature. This is a great resource for all voters and political challengers to become informed on the issues of importance to Alaskans.
The Alerts Page is another great place to find out what bills each legislator introduced and links to where campaign contributors are listed.
With this information it only takes a few minutes to decide whether an incumbent legislator has been voting the way you want them to. If the incumbent is NOT representing you, then consider voting for someone else!
Always remember, "An informed voter is the best defense against bad government"!
