Tuesday August 24, 2004 is the primary election. Over the years we have seen many races decided by a hand full of votes. This fact alone proves that EVERY vote really does count. The ballot box is the ultimate public opinion survey, so make sure your voice is heard loud and clear! For complete information contact the division of elections. Remember, "an informed voter is the best defense against bad government", so be sure to visit the Watchdog page before you vote!

of the slot machines and enter the drawing for a FREE slot machine.
For the best chance of winning, take all six surveys!
We are encouraging every Alaskan to visit the Watchdog page prior to voting this fall. The Watchdog page has been recently updated with lots of voting records. It is a great resource for all voters and political challengers to become informed on the issues of importance to Alaskans. The Alerts Page is another great place to find out what bills your legislator introduced and links to where campaign contributors are listed. It only takes a few minutes to figure out if you are supporting the best candidate.
VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED FOR THE PALMER STATE FAIR
We still need a few volunteers to help at the Palmer State Fair between August 26th and September 6. Anyone interested in helping should contact our office to sign up.
