SAVE THE PFD CAMPAIGN

ATTENTION: NOME, ALASKA!!!

Legislators visit Nome on Thursday July 31 in an attempt to sell their P. O. M. V. (percent of market value) scheme to the good folks up there.  What the legislators are not telling the public is what happens to the PFD's and guaranteed inflation proofing we now enjoy.  Under their plan (also known as Murkowski's "endowment plan"), both of these go away to be replaced with a steady stream of revenue to state government that could under certain market conditions include principal of the fund!

Make sure everyone in Nome is informed of the truth before these smooth talking guys come to town.  Call or send an email to all your friends and relatives in Nome before it's too late!

Have you sent a letter lately?  Click HERE and send your message in support of HJR 3/SJR 19 which will allow the public to vote whether to put the PFD into Alaska's Constitution, away from the clutches of our governor and legislature!

LONGEVITY BONUS PROGRAM

"Many senior citizens rely on the Longevity Bonus to make ends meet.

Did Governor Murkowski do the right thing"?

To find the answer to this very important question, we surveyed 248 people statewide.  Click HERE to view the interesting results of this survey.

Results of previous surveys can be found at the bottom of our Statistics Page.  There are some VERY interesting results that clearly indicate a major disconnect between elected officials and the public.
