"An Informed Voter Is The Best Defense Against Bad Government"

 

There are three levels of membership in the Alaska Voters Organization.  These levels are outlined below:

 

General Member: this membership is completely free and available to everyone.  No annual dues and/or contributions of any kind are required. 

 

Supporting Member: any person or group desiring to support objectives of the Alaska Voters Organization by paying a monetary donation and/or contributing in any other way recognized by the Board of Directors. 

 

Honorary Member: an individual or group whose outstanding contribution supporting goals of the Alaska Voters Organization are worthy of special recognition. A recipient of Honorary Membership shall receive nomination from the Board and requires a two-thirds approval vote by the Board of Directors.

 

Each member providing their email address will automatically receive a subscription to the “Spotlight on Juneau” newsletter free of charge. 

 

Alaska Voters Organization, Inc., is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit foundation.  As such, donations are tax deductible under section 170 of the IRS Code.  Bequests, legacies, devises, transfers, or gifts made to the Alaska Voters Organization are deductible for Federal estate and gift tax purposes if they meet the applicable provisions of sections 2055, 2106, and  2522 of the Code.  As a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public about state fiscal issues, we rely on YOU and your generous donations to continue our ongoing operations.
