HB 498: Whittier Private Prison

Once again the citizens of Alaska face legislation creating a "private" prison; funded and supported by public money.  This action represents the dark side of special interest legislation. Throughout Alaska the voters, whom our Legislators
are empowered to represent, have overwhelmingly and repeatedly rejected Cornell's proposed "private" prison. Reject this boondoggle!
