THE PERMANENT FUND "Protect it for the generations to come"
SJR 18 was NOT introduced by an individual, it was introduced by a committee. There must be a reason why legislators are NOT willing to put their name on this bill. Could it be they find it easier to hide behind a "committee" to avoid facing public opinion? Another example of why this cowardly practice should be eliminated! We need to seriously consider the legislation that has been introduce to prevent this practice in the future.
SJR 18 is similar to HJR 26; an attempt to make the Permanent Fund an endowment for government spending.
