HB 11 Reduces certain Royalties to Permanent Fund

and gives extra $40 to $55 million a year to the Legislature!

Part of majority plan to eliminate the dividend program!

HB 16, A TAX BREAK for OIL COMPANIES

HB 28, Allows the commissioner to

grant oil royalty reductions!

HB 57, Reduces State royalties on

average $1.9 Million a year for Agrium,

a foreign corporation doing business in Alaska.

HB 61, TAX CREDIT FOR OIL COMPANIES!

HB 69, Allows elimination of requirements for public hearings

PRIOR to drilling coal bed methane gas wells!

HB 75, A DEFICIT OPERATING BUDGET

HB 90, TAX CREDITS FOR COMMERCIAL FISHING INDUSTRY!

requires 1.5 new state positions to monitor,

and unknown revenue loss to state.

HB 105, STATE LOANS FOR COMMERCIAL FISHERMAN

HB 162, Increase business license TAX 400%!

HB 170, WILL INCREASE CERTAIN MOTOR

VEHICLE REGISTRATION FEES UP TO 200%

HB 187, Extends board of storage tank assistance

HB 267, AUTHORIZES THE ALASKA RAILROAD TO ISSUE

UP TO $17 BILLION IN BONDS TO PAY FOR 70% OF THE

CONSTRUCTION OF A NATURAL GAS PIPELINE!

SB 51, Increases the municipal bond bank

debt ceiling to $500 million!

SB 73, INCREASES LOAN LIMITS OF THE

ALASKA INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT

AND EXPORT AUTHORITY TO $20,000,000!

SB 100, The $1.4 BILLION CAPITAL budget is

100% DEFICIT SPENDING, which requires

borrowing money from the CBR again!

SB 185, A REDUCTION OF ROYALTY ON

CERTAIN OIL PRODUCED FROM COOK INLET

SB 264  Will save the state a little money

on pipeline right a way applications.

SB 265   Will

shorten time required for new

oil and gas projects to become reality.

SB 277   Approved of the Alaska Student Loan

Corporation bonding (going into debt) up to $75 million,

with the proceeds used for capital projects.  "Enron style"

way to fund government projects!

SB 279  Approved this vehicle for funding the

Capital Budget by shifting revenue generated by the

Alaska Housing Finance Corporation, University

of Alaska and other sources.

SB 283  Approved this bill with the

confusing title that in reality is the

CAPITAL BUDGET!

$50 million will come from money borrowed by the

Alaska Student Loan Corporation and

$45 million borrowed by the

Alaska Housing Finance Corporation!

SB 300  Approved this special interest legislation

that gives an Attorney Lien preference to a lawyers

claim over the prevailing party of a suit!

SB 326  In favor of the permanent fund

board investing up to 10 percent of the total assets

of the fund in derivatives a.k.a. hedge funds!

SB 338  Approved this special interest legislation

that clearly favor state employees over citizens in the

event of civil action taken by the private citizen.

SB 365  In favor of forcing registration for

Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants,

which grants additional powers to the government,

but fails to provide any REAL benefit to citizens.

SB 376  Approved giving subpoena powers to the

Department of Health Education and Social

Services.  The separation of powers principle

is trashed so the state can save about $6,000 a year! 

SB 382  Supported this special interest legislation

that would apply to existing litigation such as State of

Alaska v. Hartman, 3AN-03-13875 CI and State of

Alaska v. Hinkel, 3AN-04-4768 CI.

SB 1001 Approved adding

$1 a pack TAX on cigarettes!
